After news broke via ESPN announcing a title fight between Henry Cejudo and Jose Aldo is set to take place this May in Brazil, another top contender in the bantamweight division shared information about his future in UFC.

Talking with Russian Media outlet, Ria Novosti, No. 3 ranked fighter Petr Yan revealed he was currently in negotiations to make his octagon return in the near future.

“Probably will have a fight in May or June this year [sic] and am in negotiations to face Marlon Moraes or Aljamain Sterling next” [sic] in the UK later this year.

“Both fighters are above me in the rankings, and the bout is not only to put me in line to fight for the title but will improve my popularity [sic],” said Yan who seemingly confirmed the rumor that the UFC is working in another event in the UK after UFC London in March.

Yan just started his training camp to this bout in Thailand but not have the bout signed yet.

“We just need a agreement of parties to do this. They are in negotiations now [sic].” revealed the UFC bantamweight.
