A lightweight encounter between Ross Pearson and Abel Trujillo has been booked for UFC Fight Night 84 it was announced via the promotions twitter account earlier itday.

Blackzilians trained Trujillo (13-7-1) will look to make it two wins on the bounce after his 1st round submission win over Tony Sims at UFC 195 earlier this month. This win snap a 2-fight losing streak that saw him suffer back-to-back submission loses to Tony Ferguson and Gleison Tibau.
For Sunderland’s Pearson (18-10-1) it will be a chance to get back to winning ways after dropping a unanimous decision loss to Francisco Trinaldo at UFC Fight Night 81.
