It seemed as if UFC heavyweight Anthony ‘Freight Train’ Hamilton (14-4) was about to snatch a near record breaking TKO victory in the opening seconds of his bout with Daniel Omielanczuk (16-5-1-1NC) on April 11 at UFC Fight Night in Krakow, Poland. However, the 35-year-old American was forced to grind out a hard fought unanimous decision victory as his Polish opposition rallied back to put up a fight.

Following his victory, the Jackson-Winkeljohn MMA product discussed the contest with MMA Plus and other members of the media. While wrestling gave him the edge to achieve victory, Hamilton continued to explain how the grappling art saved his life from the potential damages of a troubled childhood.
