A heavyweight clash between Victor Pesta (9-1) and Konstantin Erokhin (9-1) has been added to the UFC on Fox 14 card according popular news outlet Bleacher Report.
24-year old Pesta entered the UFC as an unbeaten prospect last May having won his first 9 professional fights, defeating the likes of Zoran Krpan, Sasa Lazic and Lukas Tupa a long the way. Unfortunately for the Prague native on his UFC debut he would be on the wrong end of a unanimous decision loss to Russain Ruslan Magomedov at UFC Fight Night 41.
The man Pesta is tasked to welcome to the UFC is red hot Russian Konstantin Erokhin. After losing his first professional fight Erokhin has been in scintillating form, going on a 9-fight unbeaten run, with all but one of his victories coming via 1st round KO/TKO. During this impressive run the 32-year old has claimed a number of notable scalps which include the likes of Pride and UFC veteran Sokoudjou, Brett Rogers and most recently Dave Huckaba last month earning the Moscow native a call-up to the UFC.
UFC on Fox 14 goes down on Saturday, 24th January 2015, at Stockholm’s Tele2 Arena and features a main event which between Swedish superstar and #1 ranked light heavyweight Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson taking on #3 ranked Anthony “Rumble” Johnson.
