Gegard Mousasi (41-6-2) has gotten his wish for a high-profile middleweight fight when he meets former champ Chris Weidman (13-2) at UFC 210.
Mousasi is coming off the back off four straight wins with three finishes. His last victory came with a stunning first round TKO finish of Uriah Hall (12-8) at UFC Belfast in November. Prior to that he knocked out Vitor Belfort (25-13) and Thiago Santos (13-5).
Weidman is coming into the contest off the back of two losses for the first time in his career. He lost his title to Luke Rockhold (15-3) in December of 2014 and then lost again by KO to Yoel Romero (13-1) at UFC 205.
UFC 210 does down on Saturday, April 8 2017 at KeyBank Center, the first time the promotion has visited the city since UFC 7 on Sept. 8, 1995.
