BAMMA 21

Three bouts have been added to BAMMA 21, which goes down June 13 from the Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham; and include the returns of fan favourite’s Chris Fields and Jack McGann.

In a middleweight affair, Straight Blast Gym’s Fields (10-6) makes his return at The Barclaycard Arena when he faces Marcin “Mad Boy” Prostko (4-0) in a middleweight clash on the BAMMA 21 preliminary card.

Having been slaughtered at the hands of current title challenger Cheick Kone at BAMMA 18, Fields needs to make a big impression in this return bout.

Fighting out of Wakefield, 28 year-old Polish born Marcin “Mad Boy” Prostko trains out of the highly regarded ASW Manchester, and already holds a regional championship in MMA.

A lightweight bout between McGann (7-1) and Tim “The Experiment” Wilde (5-1) has been added to the BAMMA 21 line-up

Wilde holds two victories in the promotion, Stephen Martin and Jefferson “Shadow Demon Blaximus” George. A short skirmish away from the promotion included wins over
Phil Flynn and Damien Brown.

Opponent McGann is one of the hottest prospects BAMMA has to offer, and will be looking to bounce back in impressive fashion after Marc Diakiese handed him his first loss in their BAMMA British Lonsdale title fight at BAMMA 19 in Blackpool.

Elsewhere, at welterweight it was recently announced that “Dirty” Harry Marple (2-0) is scheduled to fight Wendle “Kojo” Lewis (6-2), just days after Lewis withdrew from his Macto Championship bout with Nick Osipczak, citing personal reasons.

Lewis will be making his first professional appearance since December 2013, where he was knocked out by Leon “Rocky” Edwards at BAMMA 14.

On the opposite side, Marple impressed fans at BAMMA 20, with his slick Japanese neck-tie submission over Chris Astley; only his second pro career win.
