BAMMA 22

Conor ‘Da Crook’ Cooke is among six fighters added to BAMMA 22: DuQuesnoy vs. Loughnane prelims on September 19 from the 3 Arena in Dublin Ireland.

Cooke (6-6) makes his first appearance since his BAMMA 19 Lonsdale middleweight title loss to Andy DeVent in Blackpool. Now joining Next Generation Northern Ireland teammate Alan ‘The Apprentice’ Philpott, Cooke will look to erase his last loss, but faces a tough challenge against the undefeated Paul Byrne.

Straight Blast Gym’s (SBG) Byrne (5-0) will make his BAMMA debut in Dublin. All of Byrne’s wins come by T/KO and he will look to add his sixth straight at BAMMA 22.

Also on the card, Rilion Gracie Ju Jitsu’s Stephen Coll (5-4) squares off with Alexandre ‘Figura’ Leite (0-3).

All five of the Northern Irish fighter’s victories have come by submission and Coll will look to build on his last win against Mick Brennan.

Brazilian Leite fights out of Instigacao Xtreme and will look to take the first win of his professional MMA career.

Elsewhere, two bantamweights make their professional debuts at BAMMA 22, Rush Fight Academy’s Adam Caffrey (Amateur 6-1) faces SBG’s Dylan Tuke (Amateur 3-0).
