On Friday, September 15 at BAMMA 31Nathan Jones and Alex Lohoré will finally have the opportunity to put an end to their bitter rivalry when they go one-on-one on BAMMA’s first London event in three years.

The two London based fighters have been embroiled in a feud for the latter part of their budding careers, but only one can leave SSE Arena Wembley with ultimate bragging rights as BAMMA world champion.

But before their mega-clash at BAMMA 31 in London, they came Head2Head for the first time in the fight’s build-up, exclusively for MMA Plus.

Jones (11-5), has nine submission wins to his name, and with the nickname “Mr. Bag & Tag” it comes as no surprise. After winning three regional championships, he signed to BAMMA in 2015, moving his way up the welterweight ladder with a record of 2-1 inside the promotion. Earlier this year at Bellator London, he submitted old foe Umer Kayani in the very first round of their fight

Lohoré (12-1), has been on a meteoric since turning professional in 2014, capturing two regional championships. With six of his wins finalised through KO/TKO, there’s no denying his striking prowess will play a big part in the title showdown. BAMMA 31 will mark his BAMMA debut, but with two second round stoppages in Bellator, against Colin Fletcher and Dan Edwards, Lohoré has certainly earned his spot in the title fight.

Head2Head Synopsis: Nathan Jones and Alex Lohoré come Head2Head in the build-up to their mega-clash at BAMMA 31. Bragging rights and a world championship title are at stake when they meet on September 15, but before they can put their hands on each other, both Londoners had some choice words, in their final meeting before their rivalry’s conclusion.
