Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers will make a return to the cage this September inside Wembley Arena for BAMMA London after his successful MMA debut in Birmingham earlier this year.

BAMMA London, also known as BAMMA 31, is due to take place on Friday, September 15 at the SSE Wembley Arena in London, England. Fights already announced for the card include a huge welterweight clash between Nathan Jones and Alex Lahore as well as BAMMA Middleweight champion Yannick Bahati defending his title against Mike Shipman.

The former Ex on the Beach contestant was seen as a novelty ahead of his professional debut at BAMMA 29 in the Genting Arena in Birmingham back in May. However Chalmers proved his detractors, many whom suspected it was all a PR stunt, wrong as he took out fellow newcomer Greg Jenkins on his way to a submission victory in just two minutes.

Chalmers, 29, does not yet have an opponent lined up for his sophomore fight however after coming in 15lbs overweight for his last bout, it’s unclear in what weight division the reality television star will fight in next. One thing that is certain is the seriousness Chalmers is approaching his new career with and how much he is adamant he will prove people wrong.

“Getting my first win in front of all my doubters was amazing. I can’t wait to get in there and do it all again”, said Chalmers.

“If you said a year ago I would be fighting at Wembley in London, I would have said ‘you’re having a laugh’.

“But dreams can come true. It’s one of the biggest venues in the country. There’s been so many great fights there. I can’t wait to get in there and, hopefully, put on another great fight.”
