Irish female standout’s Catherine Costigan and Sinead Kavanagh have been added to BAMMA 22: DuQuesnoy vs. Loughnane in Dublin, Ireland on September 19.

Catherine Costigan (5-1) faces Simona Soukupova in an atomweight contest, as ‘The Alpha Female’ looks to get back into the win column after a unsuccessful outing against Amber Brown at Invicta FC 13.

The Limerick fighter will make her first Irish appearance since defeating Noellie Molina in August 2014 at The Helix.

Czech fighter Simona Soukupova (5-3-1) trains out of Ronin MMA and Fight Zone in London and most recently picked up a KO knee over Iman Darabi.

Costigan said: “I’m excited about fighting for BAMMA. This No. 1 European show has World Class standards and I’m very passionate about putting on a show for my fans on Sept the 19th. This will be the first female fight for them and I’m truly honoured to debut and in the amazing 3 arena. I’m very hungry now and determined to make this an elite showing of the Alpha Female.”

Also on the card, 145lb IMMAF 2015 Silver medallist Sinead Kavanagh will make her professional debut against bantamweight Hatice ‘The Turkish Delight” Oyzurt (1-3).

Kavanagh is predicted as one of the hottest prospects coming out of SBG Ireland, and many expect her to have a stand up war with Oyzurt; who is 73-14 in kickboxing.

Training alongside female legend Marloes Coehnen, expect Oyzurt to bring fireworks to Dublin.
