The British Association of Mixed Martial Arts (BAMMA) have announced the addition of two heavyweight bouts, with potential title implications, to the card of BAMMA 21 on the 13th June at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham.

With the BAMMA Heavyweight Champion also being crowned at BAMMA 21 with Mark Godbeer vs. Paul Taylor, four fighters will be looking to get opportunity to be in line as the next title contender. Stuart “He-Man” Austin, Tom Denham, Tom Aspinall and the newly signed Dayman “Godzilla” Lake will face off on the BAMMA 21 prelims in the following match-ups:

Stuart “He-Man” Austin Vs. Tom Aspinall
Thomas Denham Vs. Dayman “Godzilla” Lake

Stuart Austin is coming off a very close split decision loss to Artur Gluchowski at BAMMA 18 in his BAMMA debut. The London based Team Titan fighter holds an 8-3 record. The Judo black belt will be looking to put things right in his bout with Aspinall at BAMMA 21.

Tom Aspinall currently holds a 3-0 record after mounting back to back wins at BAMMA 18 & 19. Fighting out of Team Kaobon, many believe that Aspinall is the future star of the Heavyweight division. A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt under his father Andy Aspinall, Tom looks to take the next step up in his MMA career.

Thomas Denham Vs. Dayman “Godzilla” Lake

Thomas Denham’s record currently stands at 6-7 with his most recent bouts being a win over Phil DeFries and a loss at BAMMA 19 to Mark “The Hand Of” Godbeer who is now challenging for the BAMMA Heavyweight title at BAMMA 21. Denham has stepped up to be the one to welcome the newly signed Lake and is relishing the bout.

Dayman “Godzilla” Lake fights out of Combat Sports Academy in Kent and holds a 6-4 record. The heavyweight brawler looks to set out his stall at BAMMA in his debut against ‘the tough as they come’ Denham in the first bout of his newly signed multi-fight deal with the promotion.

The culmination of these collisions will decide who is next in line for a heavyweight title shot. Make sure you don’t miss out on what will be a two titanic fights. BAMMA 21 tickets are on sale now at http://bit.ly/BAMMA-21
