Rising semi-pro prospect Beau “The Beast” West (2-0) is set to return to the cage for his third bout at UCMMA 50 against former pro competitor Marian Constantin (0-2) in a light-heavyweight showdown.

West and Constantin are set to face off at the famous Troxy on February 4.

“The Beast” took the semi-professional mixed martial arts scene by storm in 2016 and is hoping to do the same again when he steps in to face Constantin in what is expected to be another dominant performance from West.

West, 26, fights out of Prizefighters Aldershot and brings heavy hands with knockout power and a slick ground game into his fight against Constantin.

Although West only has two bouts under his belt, he has finished both fights in impressive fashion with a 25-second, first round knockout over David Holloways in his debut at Warrior Challenge 24. West; who trains jiu-jitsu under Mark Phungalso secured a quick 31-second rear-naked choke over Ryan Swan.

“I feel I’ll have too much for him either standing up or on the ground and I don’t mean any disrespect by that at all,” said Aldershot’s West. “He’s another stepping stone in my learning and making my way through the ranks.

“I feel I owe it all to my team around me [especially] my head coach Sul Raja he works with me week in and week out, one to one sessions drilling over and over and tweaking things. I’m always learning, Prizefighters are a strong team and I couldn’t ask for any more”.

Stepping down from the pro ranks, Constantin hasn’t had the best of luck thus far in his career, losing both of his fights in the first round. But there is no quit in Constantin as he still wants to make a statement and prove he is still a worthy opponent and competitor.

Following West for his upcoming fight with Constantin are his sponsors JD Motors, Phirm FX, Beast Gear, Pelican I.t and Athlete King.

On March 11, the Aldershot-based fighter will also compete at Lion Fight Championships in Rochester for the promotion’s light-heavyweight belt. An opponent has yet to be announced.
