May 18th: MACTO Championships, the UK’s hottest new MMA promotion, are proud to announce the middleweight contest of Dean ‘Renegade’ Amasinger vs. Dan Vinni, added to the stacked card of MACTO Championships’ inaugural event on June 27 at the Arena: MK in Milton Keynes.

World renowned MMA coach Dean Amasinger makes his highly anticipated return to competition with MACTO Championships after a three year absence.

With a 9-6 record as a pro fighter, historically representing Nottingham’s iconic Team Rough House, now fighting out of NFM, Windsor; Amasinger last competed in 2012, but the 31-year-old has since undergone a tremendous career development having played a pivotal coaching role for many of Britain’s top fighters, and we are set to witness a greatly evolved fighter in Milton Keynes on June 27th.

Amasinger’s ability as one of the UK’s leading MMA coaches was harnessed by UFC veteran Ross Pearson in 2012 when Amasinger was brought in to coach Team UK against their Australian counterparts on The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes.

Amasinger also served as a competitor on The Ultimate Fighter: United States vs. United Kingdom in 2009.
The newly evolved Amasinger feels the time is right for a return to action, he stated: “The time is right to make my return to MMA. I’ve grown as a fighter, athlete and man, and I’m excited to compete again and fight beyond my potential.”

Upon his long awaited return, Amasinger will face a stern test in the form of 27-year-old Dan Vinni (21-15), an experienced BJJ specialist with rounded abilities that have seen him achieve 7 submission victories with 5 wins by way of KO/TKO.

Fighting out of London’s Cobra Gym, Vinni looks to hit winning ways with his first fight of 2015, and the opportunity to ruin the high profile return of Amasinger will no doubt provide intense motivation.

Vinni stated: “I’m really excited to be fighting on such a big stage like MACTO, which is looking like it’s doing all the right things to be a success. I’m also very grateful to fighting such a respected veteran like Dean. I’ve been under the radar for a long time, mixed with having some bad luck and bad decisions but this is my time to make a statement. ‘Tell your friends, tell your neighbours, tell Randy Gonzalez…I’m coming!’”
