RISE OF CHAMPIONS is back at the City Pavilion, Romford tomorrow for the promotion’s third outing. The RoC 3 fighters weighed in today at the venue, with all athletes making their contracted weights, with the exception of Marius Pisat and Fouad Mesdari who will weigh in for their catchweight bout tomorrow.
Following the recent injury to Bill Beaumont, the featherweight bout between Corrin Eaton and Carl Morley was promoted to the main event.
Eaton (7-2) makes a long awaited return to action tomorrow, competing for the first time in 2016. A back injury sidelined the Team Titan representative, having found himself back in the win column at BCMMA 13 in December of last year.
Eaton tipped the scales at (65.6kg) while Morley weighed in at (65.9kg) to make the headline fight official.
A replacement is currently being sought for bantamweight Mike Ekundayo (5-0), due to Mathew Williams withdrawing from the fight. Ekundayo was expecting to make his professional debut.
Pickett commented: “Unfortunately, it’s the nature of the game that there will always be last minute changes. However, very fortunately we have a great team, and a lot of dedicated fighters so we anticipate an amazing night tomorrow.”
