Tankō Fighting Championships held its first event on Saturday, August 13th 2016 at the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester.

In the main event Brendan Loughnane inflicted an epic beatdown on Eden Newton in an emotionally filled affair to be crowned the King of Manchester.

The co-main event saw two TUF veterans  do battles as Saul Rodgers scored a super quick d’arce choke submission win over season 9 runner-up Andre Winner with just 0:54 of the opening round gone.
