With the late withdrawal of Ali Maclean (13-8-1) due to injury, top UK featherweight prospect Arnold Allen (8-1-0) will move up a weight class to face Paul Cook (14-5) for the vacant Made4TheCage Lonsdale British lightweight title this Saturday at M4TC 15 Bad Blood.

20-year old Allen has quickly established himself as one of the nations top talents since turning pro in 2012, claiming such notable scalps as Nathan Greyson, Andy Green and Doni Miller on the way to a 7-0 start to his mixed martial arts career. The only black mark on his record to date came at Cage Warriors 69 when he suffered a shocked unanimous decision defeat to Marcin Wrzosek but the talented Englishman would immediately bounce in August when he defeated Gaetano Pirrello.

The BKK trained fighter was due to be in action earlier this month at Cage Warriors 74 but due to a number of pull-outs the fighter was removed from the card as no replacement could be found. Due to the last cancellation of his previously scheduled bout and despite signing an exclusive 18-month contract with Cage Warriors in 2013 the featherweight has been allowed to compete for Northern England’s number 1 promotion by CEO Graham Boylen who state in a recently interview “it would be a shame to let Arnold’s fight camp go to waste so we will try to find him a fight in another promotion”.

His opponent Cook will look to rebound from a unanimous decision defeat to Antanas Jazbutis at Made4TheCage 13 this past February. Prior to this setback the Hebburn Heavy Hitters trained fighter had won his previous 3-fights, defeating Jordan Miller, Phil Flynn and David Galbraith.

Made4TheCage 15 Bad Blood goes down this Saturday, November 29th 2014 at the Rainton Meadows Arena in Middlesborough.
