This weekend Tanko Events hosts three days of fighting in Manchester, England, kicking off on Friday, May 12 with Tanko Fighting Championship 4. The main event is set to feature Team Kaobon’s Lawrence Fitzpatrick (5-0), who last defeated the infamous Charles “Felony” Bennett via first round submission at TFC 3. The undefeated Scouse fighter will now face France’s Anthony Dizy (9-2) in a lightweight bout. Dizy himself recently scored the biggest win of his career when he defeated former BAMMA world champion Martin Stapleton by unanimous decision at Cage Warriors 80.

Headlining the amateur portion of the card will be another Team Kaobon fighter as top prospect Muhammad Mokaev (Am. 5-0) defends his Amateur Flyweight title against Doncaster’s Warren Mason (Am. 7-9). Mason is a former IMMAF European silver medallist.

Also featured on the show will be former TUF competitor Michael Bowman and ACB’s Arturo Chavez.

Two days later, Tanko will host their first ever submission only grappling event. Tanko Submission Championship 1 boasts a star-studded line-up featuring Scottish UFC star Paul Craig taking on top British prospect Andrew “The Vice” Clamp. Also appearing on the card will be former Cage Warriors featherweight champion Paddy Pimblett and former UFC name Ian Entwistle who competes in his farewell contest.

With such a packed line-up this weekend, also including a Tanko Muay Thai League show on Saturday, MMA Plus is offering an exclusive competition to its readers to win a pair of tickets to either Tanko Fighting Championship 4 (Friday) or Tanko Submission Championship 1 (Sunday).
