19 May 2014 – Manchester, England: The Main Event have tonight announced a change to a previously scheduled between 62kg A class bout..

Darren O’Connor who was scheduled to face Panicos Yusuf next month has picked up an injury, which has forced him to withdraw from the bout.

Despite this set back Main Event matchmakers have successfully found Panicos an opponent in Dutch star Sergio Wielzen who many feel will be a tougher test for the All Powers/Superpetch fighter.

Wielzen who is the nephew of one of the early stars of Dutch Muay Thai, Theo Wielzen who fought the likes of Ronnie Green and Humphrey Harrison during his distinguished career.

Sergio will go into his fight with Panicos having competed for some of the biggest promotions in Kickboxing including Glory and It’s Showtime, has shared the squared circle with the likes of Anuwat Kaewsamrit, Mickael Paynaud , Houcine Bennoui, among others

Wielzen is a super quick fighter who’s aggressive fighting style has seen him build an impressive record which reads 38 wins from 50 fights, with 22 by way of (T)KO and is relishing this opportunity to test himself against another world class opponent in Panicos.
