WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT YOU OPPONENT?
I don’t know where he is from, but I have seen 2 of his fights and I know that he’s tough and brave as well. I watched him against Joe Cooper and he was a lot lighter. He got hurt during that fight but I thought he did very well, I could see he was at a weight disadvantage but he did look good.
TELL US ABOUT WHEN YOU LAST FOUGHT ON FURY?
It was a good experience, it was quite hyped because my opponent’s fans did not like it when I won, it was a bit heated but alright in the end.
YOU HAVE A MASSIVE FAN BASE AND ARE VERY POPULAR WITH THE CROWD, WHY?
(Laughs) I don’t know really, they’re all my friends and family and people that they know. I like to think that I’m quite a likable person. People that get to know me like to come and see me and my brother fight and we like to fight as well so they definitely get their money’s worth.
WHERE DID THE NICKNAME “SUPER” COME FROM?
At my last fight loads of my mates just started singing Super Bill, you know that song.. It was good I enjoyed it now it’s stuck.
WHAT MAKES FURY MMA SO DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHER UK PROMOTIONS?
I think it’s the effort they put in to promote the fights. It’s improved massively also because the first few had no camera man and I missed out on some of my career footage, but now they are doing really well, they are doing very good things.
DO YOU HAVE ANY WORDS FOR YOU OPPONENT?
Good luck really, I have had a chat with him before after the Joe Cooper fight to be honest, and I said to him why did he take that fight when Cooper was so much bigger? He seems to be a really nice fella. I wish him luck really. This is just a sport.
WHAT NEXT AFTER FURY #10?
Just to keep fighting really and keep busy.. When is FURY # 11?? As long as it’s a good fight and a well matched opponent I’m game.
