Kingdom is a new MMA drama series which airs on Showtime telling the story of once legendary fighter Alvey ‘King’ Kulina and his partner Lisa who struggle to keep the once popular Navy Street MMA Gym afloat. FIGHT CHURCH is a feature-length documentary about the confluence of Christianity and mixed martial arts, including ministries which train fighters. The film follows several pastors and popular fighters in their quest to reconcile their faith with a sport that many consider violent and barbaric. Faith is tried and questions are raised. Can you really love your neighbor as yourself and then punch him in the face?

K1 World Max Finals 2014 – October 11th.
The K-1 World MAX Finals goes down in Pattaya’s, Indoor Athletics Stadium in Thailand. In the main event the 2014 K-1 MAX 70kg champion will be crowned when Muay Thai legend and 2-time World MAX champion Buakaw Banchamek looks to claim his third title when he takes on Enriko Kehl. Also on the stacked card is the debut of international MMA superstars Paul “Semtex” Daley and Andre “Dida” Amade. Checkout the video below for a preview of the 2014 K1 World MAX finals.

EA Sports UFC Game Update – TBC October
In the third update since its release EA Sports have added two new fighters as well as some fancy new moves, which include “guillotine takedown reversal” among others to their UFC game. Fighter’s added to the ever growing roster include European welterweight Gunnar “Gunni” Nelson as well as middleweight Tim Kennedy, and Stockton bad boy Nick Diaz is now available as a middleweight fighter, in recognition of his upcoming January bout with pound-4-pound great Anderson “The Spider” Silva. New animations will also add variety to takedowns and strikes when a fighter is low on energy. The release date of this latest update is not yet known but it is thought to be during the month of October. Checkout the video below for a preview of the latest update.
