ONE FC make their way to the Koh Pich Theatre in Cambodia to crown a hew Flyweight world champion, as Brazil’s Adriano Moraes takes on Philippines’s Geje Eustaquio in the main event of the evening. The co-main event holds an intense Lightweight clash as Caros Fodor faces off with Vincent Latoel, with future title implications in the balance.

ONE FC Flyweight World Championship bout: Adriano Moraes (56.6 kg/125 lbs) vs. Geje Eustaquio (56.6 kg/125 lbs)

Adriano Moraes (11-1) is considered one of Brazil’s most dangerous flyweights, with a high-level of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as well as his speed and movement, his tricky style has earned him a well deserved ONE FC title shot. Despite a narrow split decision loss to Yusup Saadulaev in his ONE FC debut, Maraes has won his last two submitting both Yasuhiro Urushitani and Kosuke Suzuki. Opponent Geje Eustaquio (6-2) is one of the best young fighters the Philippines has to offer, and fighting out of the well respected Team Lakay he has the right team behind him to go all the way. His latest win comes over the very tough Shooto veteran Kentaro Watanabe, a decision win which has earned him this title shot.

Prediction: Adriao Moraes via submission

Lightweight bout: Caros Fodor (70.2 kg/155 lbs) vs. Vincent Latoel (69.9 kg/154 lbs)

Vincent Latoel (15-14-2) shocked the world back at ONE FC 16 Honor and Glory, when he knocked out the highly touted Evolve MMA prospect Eddie Ng. Although his record may not justify it, Latoel is an extremely tough fighter, equally rounded in both stand-up and on the the ground. Washington’s Caros Fodor (9-4) is a Strikeforce veteran, with his only loss in the promotion coming to Pat Healy. His last win came over Willy Ni, however there is no question that Latoel will be a significantly tougher opponent, and one he must overcome to progress in the Lightweight division. You can make a case that the winner of this fight will get the next crack at Shinya Aoki’s Lightweight belt.

Prediction: Vincent Latoel via decision
