Tito Ortiz was largely responsible for propelling the UFC’s glamour division. During his 15 years under the Zuffa banner, he took part in wars with Chuck Liddell, Forrest Griffin and Ken Shamrock, as well as a fair share of verbal battles with UFC president Dana White. He was, and will always be, one of the most charismatic figures to have ever entered the octagon.

His grave digging celebration is arguably as memorable as his dominant ground and pound finishes. As soon as a referee would drag Ortiz off a helpless victim, the ‘Huntington Beach Bad Boy’ would punctuate the win by pretending to dig a grave, drag his opponent into it, before filling in the hole. The last time fans were treated to this memorable moment was in 2011, when Ortiz defeated Ryan Bader via a guillotine choke.
