GLORY 28

The GLORY 28 SuperFight Series will feature two world title fights when GLORY Kickboxing head to the Accorhotels Arena in Paris, France on March 12.

Additionally to Rico Verhoeven vs. Mladen Brestovac on the GLORY 28 main card, both Saulo Cavalari and Serhiy Adamchuk defend their world championships on the SuperFight Series prelims.

With an injury to the returning Gokhan “The Rebel” Saki, Saulo “Cassius Clay” Cavalari (32-2, 19 KO) defends his GLORY Light Heavyweight gold against Artem Vakhitov (15-5, 6 KO).

Both Cavalari and Vakhitov have met before, with the Brazilian picking up the split decision in Dubai last year. It was a close fight, and gives the young Russian; whom GLORY have looked to push for some time now, a huge opportunity to become the promotion’s second Russian world champion.

Also part of GLORY SuperFight Series Paris, featherweight world champion Serhiy Adamchuk (31-5, 14 KO) defends his belt against No.1 contender Mosab “Jaguar” Amrani (55-10-4, 18 KO).

Ukraine’s Adamchuk won the title at GLORY 25 Milan, in November 2015 , showcasing a technical and illusive performance to snatch the title from Gabriel Varga.

Elsewhere, Amrani earned his title shot in emphatic fashion, with two masterful performances at GLORY 26 Amsterdam just one month after Adamchuk’s inauguration. Amrani dominated the GLORY, one-night, four-man Featherweight Contender Tournament at Amsterdam Rai, knocking out both ChiBin Lim and Maykol Yurk in a combined fight time of 3:21.

Freddy “Crazy Horse” Kemayo (65-22-1, 45 KO) vs. Eddy Nait Slimani (59-1, 17 KO) will also feature on GLORY SuperFight Series Paris – both men make their GLORY Kickboxing debuts.
