As the founder and owner of AKA Thailand, UFC veteran Mike Swick recently appeared on Submission Radio to discuss the political unrest currently going on in the nation’s capital, Bangkok.
With Thailand being a country that thrives on tourism, the 34-year-old American explained how the city of Phuket, where his gym is based, continues to operate smoothly and with no problems, at least from his own experience.
“Tourism is key in Thailand, so they treat the tourists with much respect here, and yeah, there’s absolutely nothing. Nothing threatening, nothing dangerous, it’s just you know, what’s going on in Bangkok and how long it’s going to take to get solved. It’s not noticeable really.”
