The career of P4P kingpin and former UFC middleweight champion Anderson “The Spider” Silva (33-5) could be cut short if the top brass at the Ultimate Fighting Championship do the unthinkable….force to fight his countrymen and teammates Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza and Lyoto Machida.
Speaking during the latest stop on the UFC world tour, the Brazilian said:
“I’m a man with honour,” Silva told the fans during a Q&A session in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Sunday. “I’d never fight Jacare or Lyoto. I’d even stop fighting just not to fight them.”
Silva will attempt to regain the title he lost at UFC 162 on December 28th at UFC 168 against current champion and the first man to defeat him in over 7 years .
