Josh Koscheck is finally set to make his Bellator MMA debut at Bellator 172 which takes place at the SAP Center in San Jose, Califonia next month.
Koscheck (17-10) is set to face off against Mauricio Alonso on February 18 in a fight that will take place on the main card of an event headlined by a heavyweight clash between Fedor Emelianenko and Matt Mitrione.
A debut 20 months in the making for Koscheck
The 39-year-old compete for the first time under the Bellator banner after signing with the Viacom-owned promotion in 2015. He was set to make his promotional debut soon after before a series of injuries delayed his first appearance.
With his maiden appearance finally on the horizon, Koscheck has made it clear that he hopes to once again meet nemesis Paul Daley inside the cage but first, Koscheck he must get through his Bellator 172 opponent.
Alonso (12-7) will be making his second appearance for Bellator and the 36-year-old enters the bout off the back of a pair of victories in during a perfect 2016 and will look to continue that streak in the new year.
