It was today announced that UK flyweight Brad “One Punch” Pickett has signed on to be one of the faces motorsports brand WIX Racing. A reprsentative from Pickett’s management company Spiked Action Sports said:
We are delighted to confirm a brand new sponsorship with Motorsport sponsor WIX Racing.
Brad ‘One Punch’ Pickett will be one of the first UFC fighters to attract such a prestigious sponsor to the world of MMA.
The WIX brand and motorsport is one that dates back some 40 years and originates in the USA.
WIX who have successfully competed in NASCAR, the Indy 500 series, and support many race teams in the USA recently made the decision to Title Sponsor Ciceley Motorsport and their young, up and coming driver Adam Morgan. In 2013, Adam finished an impressive 7th place in the BTCC proving to be an exciting prospect for the future.
To celebrate the brand new ONE PUNCH / WIX Racing partnership, a competition will be announced shortly for any MMA fan who fancies their chances behind a wheel.
