Yet another UFC World title fight has been rescheduled due to injury. UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman suffered a fractured hand during a recent training session thus forcing his UFC 181 title defense versus Vitor Belfort to be reset for February next year.

The Dec. 6 card in Las Vegas will still go ahead with Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis facing Gilbert Melendez in a much anticipated rematch however, in addition, UFC President Dana White has announced that welterweight champ Johny Hendricks will take over the main event slot with Robbie Lawler for a second time as the pair clash in a rematch following their memorable encounter at UFC 171 on March. 15 where Hendricks claimed the vacant championship with a hard fought unanimous decision victory.
