All fighters, including CWFC middleweight world champion Jack Hermansson and challenger Deyan Topalski, are on weight for Cage Warriors 71, which takes place tomorrow – Friday, August 22, 2014 – at the King Hussein Boxing Arena in Amman, Jordan.

For the third time in 2014, Cage Warriors Fighting Championship is in the Jordanian capital of Amman, with CWFC 71 set to go down at the King Hussein Boxing Arena tomorrow.

The event is headlined by a CWFC middleweight world title clash between champion Jack Hermansson (8-2) and challenger Deyan Topalski (11-2).

Hermansson will be making his first defence since taking the belt courtesy of a dominant win over Norman Paraisy back at CWFC 69: Super Saturday in June, while Topalski challenges for the gold having gone 5-1 in his last six outings.

A hotly-anticipated featherweight tussle between former title challengers Martin Svensson (13-5) and Dave Hill (12-3) is set to take place as the night’s co-main event, with both fighters coming in under the 146lbs limit.

All 16 fighters successfully made weight at the first attempt this afternoon at Le Meridien Hotel in Amman.
