BOLA OMOYELE is to fight exclusively for Cage Warriors Fighting Championship after penning a five-fight contract with the promotion.

The 31-year-old, who’s based at American Top Team and Team Titan, will make his CWFC debut at Cage Warriors 56 in London on July 6 against a soon-to-be-announced opponent.

Omoyele (6-1) who featured on The Smashes series of The Ultimate Fighter last year as a member of Team UK, hasn’t fought competitively since a first-round TKO win over Warren Kee in Apri 2012.

With 5 TKOs and one submission, the Londoner has taken all six of his career victories by stoppage, five of which have come in the first round.

“I’m really happy to have signed with a brilliant show like Cage Warriors,” said Omoyele. “I absolutely cannot wait to get started and make my debut for them.”

Omoyele is the latest addition to an exciting Cage Warriors welterweight division which has also been boosted by the recent additions of Tom Breese and Che Mills.

Cage Warriors CEO Graham Boylan said: “A fighter of Bola’s quality deserves to be with the best show in Europe. It’s a pleasure to have him on the roster and I’m extremely excited about seeing him in action for us.”
