In what was billed by many as the biggest domestic fight in the UK so far this year, Danny “Hot Chocolate” Roberts scored a sensational 1st round TKO victory against the returning “Judo” Jim Wallhead last night at Cage Warriors 68.
Despite the devastating end to proceedings the Next Generation Liverpool fighter did not have things all his own way as Wallhead who was making his first Cage Warriors appearance in almost 4 years controlled proceedings by scoring multiple takedowns resulting and mounting Roberts on at least one occasion.

Roberts would eventually scramble his feet, before the two welterweights would begin to trade blows until Roberts would connect with a crushing hook, sending Wallhead crushing to the canvas and finishing the Rough House fighter off with hammerfists resulting in referee Mark Goddard calling a halt to proceedings in 4 minutes and 49 seconds of round 1.
MMA Plus caught up with Danny Roberts just moments after the Next Generation Liverpool fighter went 11-1 and became the first man to stop Jim Wallhead in almost 10 years..
