Strongmen are set to go to war as top European promotion KSW has today announced that former worlds strongest man Mariusz Pudzianowski will take on his long-time rival, Tyberiusz Kowalczyk at KSW Colosseum.

Pudzianowski (10-5), has been one of Poland’s most recognisable athletes for the last decade having won multiple strongman titles and having established a respectable MMA record which has seen the 40-year old earn wins over the likes of Sean McCorkle, Oli Thompson, Rolles Gracie and Olympic Judo champion and Pride veteran Paweł Nastula.

Kowalczyk (3-0) has made the perfect start a mixed martial arts career which has seen him dispatch his first 3 opponents in only 4-minutes. Since making the transition from the strongman ranks, the 38-year-old has knockout’s over Tomas Vaicickas and Akop Szostak, and has also submitted Tomasz Czerwiński

The highly anticipated clash of two of the most decorated Polish strongmen turned mixed martial artists will serve as the co-main event of this landmark show.

KSW Colosseum takes place on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at the PGE Narodowy in Warsaw, Poland.
