According to MMAFighting.com, WSOF president Ray Sefo and executive vice president Ali Abdel-Aziz confirmed that the 185lb title pot includes Cage Warriors champion Jesse Taylor (26-9), Dave Branch (12-3), Danillo Villefort (14-4) and Elvis Mutapcic (13-2).

A standout grappler on a 6-fight win streak, Taylor faced defeat in his one and only UFC outing in 2008, but has since earned career victories over the likes of Tom Watson, Dennis Kang and Kendall Grove, capturing multiple titles in the process.

Mutapcic entered the World Series of Fighting as the MFC middleweight king, currently riding a 5-fight win streak having finished all but two of his career opponents.

Branch is 2-0 in the WSOF with a pair of decision victories over UFC vet Dustin Jacoby and former WEC middleweight champion Paulo Filho, while Villefort also won his promotion debut against Kris McCray.

Set to feature on the NBC Sports Network, the first semi-final bout will take place at WSOF 4 in California on August 10, with the second clash set for WSOF 5 (location/date TBC).
