It has been revealed this morning that Glory World Series, kickboxing’s premier promotion is rumored to be making its long awaited return to the United Kingdom for their 18th show on July 19th in London, England.
The news that was broken by popular kickboxing website Liverkick.com, will be the first time the popular promotion will be in England since the ultra successful Glory World Series 5 which was held at London’s Excel arena which played host to a main event which saw Tyrone Spong defeat 3 times K1 grand prix winner Remi Bonjasky via 2nd round knockout.
In further news it appears one of the UK premier mixed martial artists and a man currently making waves in kickboxing Paul “Semtex” Daley made it known to the world that he is eager to feature on the card, when he posted the following message on his facebook page
“I would love to be on this card ‪GLORY Sports International”.
Daley continued his successful stint in kickboxing this past weekend when he scored a knockout victory over Alexander Surzhko at Legend Fight Show 3 in Milan, Italy.
Daley had previously been rumored to be making an appearance for the kickboxing powerhouse in March 2013 at Glory 5, but his employers at the time Bellator Fighting Championship had been rumored to have blocked the move for him to appear on the card.
