In the seconds after referee Kevin Mulhall stepped in to call an end to Jason High vs Raphael dos Anjos, the MMA official was pushed by a frustrated High who found himself receiving a TKO loss at UFC Fight Night on June.7 in Alburquerque, New Mexico.
The UFC’s initial reaction was that the promotion would leave it in the hands of New Mexico’s athletic commission of who are expected to hold a meeting soon however, UFC president Dana White – who was not in attendance this past weekend due to a family vacation, confirmed to UFC.com on Tuesday that High (18-5) would in fact be cut from the UFC roster.
“You don’t ever, ever f****** touch a referee, ever. You’re done here,” White told UFC.com. “He’s been apologizing on Twitter, but he’s done.”
