British welterweight John Hathaway (17-1) will return to action for the first time in over year when he faces South Korea’s Dong Hyun Kim (18-2-1-1NC) in the TUF: China Finale on March 1. The contest will be a 5-round main event held at the The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Arena.

Over three years since the original but was scheduled, the pair were first set to meet at UFC 120 in London, 2010, however Kim withdrew due to an injury, making way for experienced veteran Mike Pyle who stepped in and out-wrestled Hathaway for a unanimous decision victory and Hathaway’s first career loss.

Hathaway last competed on September 29, 2012 at UFC on Fuel TV: Struve vs Miocic. ‘The Hitman’ convincingly out-pointed his fellow Englishman John Maguire. In contrast, Kim most recently defeated Erick Silva at UFC Fight Night: Maia vs Shields in Brazil this past October. A second-round knockout punch earned a third successive victory for ‘Stun Gun’.
