According to Audie Attar – the manager of UFC middleweight Michael Bisping, the British contender’s eye test following a prolonged injury has provided “inconclusive” results.
It’s reported that further tests on Bisping’s right eye are needed due to the London physician’s lack of examining equipment.
Pending the doctor’s clearance, Bisping is currently slated to face American Tim Kennedy at the TUF Nations Finale on April.16 in Quebec, Canada.
LATEST: Less than 24 hours after the results of Bisping’s eye exam were revealed on UFC Tonight, UFC president Dana White has today revealed, during a media scrum, that ‘The Count’ is in fact cleared to fight on April.16.
A detached retina forced Bisping to withdraw from a scheduled bout against Mark Munoz in September of 2013, the injury was first suffered at UFC 159 where Bisping defeated Alan Belcher via a technical-decision on April 27, 2013.
