It has emerged today that former UFC fighter and newly sighed World Series of Fighting lightweight Melvin “The Young Assasin” Guillard (31-13-2-2) was involved in a car accident while traveling with his wife yesterday.
The Ultimate Fighter Season 2 contestant revealed the news via his Instagram account and had the following to say regarding the accident.
“Me and my wife on our way to dinner and a movie now on the way to the hospital!!!!”
Guillard’s who is set to make his World Series of Fighting debut on July 5th against Gesias Cavalcante, but it is not known at this time if this latest bit of bad luck puts this fight in jeopardy.
