Ahead of his co-main event bout against Michael Johnson at UFC Fight Night London on March 8, UFC lightweight Melvin Guillard (31-12-2, 2NC) spoke exclusively with MMA Plus in an open and honest interview where ‘The Young Assassin’ did not hold back.

Guillard has put full preperations in to dispatching of former training partner Michael Johnson, and has been in the UK for well over a week in order to acclimatize and get his sleep pattern on point. However, Guillard went on to openly reveal he’s looking ahead of Johnson on Saturday night, an opponent he chose to face based on their somewhat love hate relationship.

Guillard continued to slam original opponent Ross Pearson. The pair first met at UFC Fight Night: Machida vs Munoz back in October, 2013, however the bout was decalred a no-conest following an accidental illegal knee at the hands of Guillard. Guillard stated that he felt robbed by the referee, and continued to accuse Pearson of ducking the rematch while also addressing rumours of the British fighter training with a male stripper.
