The main card for Cage Warriors 57 is now complete following the addition of a middleweight bout between Norman Paraisy (pictured) and Leeroy Barnes.
The pair will clash when Cage Warriors hits Liverpool’s Echo Arena on Saturday, July 20, while an opponent for Ronnie Mann will be announced early next week to finalise the line-up.
Paraisy (11-3-2-1nc) makes a swift return to CWFC action after fighting to a draw against former middleweight champion Chris Fields at Cage Warriors 55 in Dublin earlier this month.
The 27-year-old Frenchman, a three-time Bellator veteran and TUF 11 contestant, will be appearing on a CWFC card for the third time in his career, having defeated Jack Mason at Cage Warriors 43 in July 2011.
“I’m really excited to be fighting on this amazing card and in a fantastic venue like the Echo Arena,” said Paraisy.
“Only Cage Warriors can keep fighters busy like this. I’m very much looking forward to putting on a show in Liverpool.”
A Cage Warriors debutant, Barnes (12-10-1) recently signed an exclusive five-fight deal with the promotion.
The charismatic Englishman is ranked as one of the UK’s top 15 middleweights and has taken all 12 of his career wins by stoppage, 10 of which have come via submission.
The 28-year-old said: “Paraisy is awesome and I know this, but it’s about time people started giving me the credit I’m due as a middleweight.
“Cage Warriors believe in me enough to put this fight on and I’ll prove them right. Paraisy is tailor-made for me so this is a fight I can shine in. I’ll put him away.”
