ONE Championship flyweight Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio received an unexpected call out from BAMMA champion Rany Saadeh following his win at the Asian promotion’s Dynasty of Heroes event which took place earlier today.

The call out came moments after Eustaquio (9-5) avenged a 2015 loss to Thailand’s Anatpong Bunrad to take the rematch via split decision.

Following the win, Saadeh (9-1) who had previously trained Bunrad (5-3) during his time at the world-famous Phuket Top Team had this to say about the Team Lakay trained fighter’s win.

This call out may come as shock to many as Germany’s “Prince” of MMA is currently riding a 6-fight win streak which has seen him defeat the likes of Shamsul HaqueShaj Haque and Jody Collins leaving BAMMA’s 125 lb king on the brink of a call up to the UFC.

Speaking exclusively to MMA Plus, Saadeh had this to say about the shock call out.

“No matter where the fight will take place, I will win. The judges can be his best mates, and even if this goes to a decision, I will come out as the winner. It’s what I’ve been doing all my career: manhandling guys in their home country in front of their people.”

In his last appearance, the 24-year old Berlin native successfully defeated Andy Young at BAMMA 26 to retain his flyweight belt. But since that unanimous decision win, Saadeh has been out of action and with no news of a match-up for the top European promotion on the horizon, true to form it appears Saadeh is more than happy to enter enemy territory and take on Asia’s best inside the ONE cage.
