Renan Barao’s will defend his UFC bantamweight championship against team alpha male’s TJ Dillashaw and serves as the replacement main event for UFC 173 per USA Today.

Dillashaw is 9-2 (5-1 in the UFC) and is coming off an amazing performance where he put on an a clinic against Mike Easton in a bout he won by unanimous decision.

Barao continues his amazing streak where he is undefeated in 33 bouts and still only has one loss on his record (33-1-1 NC) and his coming off a TKO victory over Dillashaw’s team mate Urijah Faber last month at UFC 169.
