It’s seems like Hollywood’s new found love affairs with the UFC’s women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey (7-0) looks set to continue. Fast off the heels of the recent announcement that Rousey had landed a role in “The Expendables 3” it was today revealed in Variety, that she had entered into negotiations with Universal Pictures to feature in the 7th installment of their popular car movie franchise “Fast & Furious”.

Ironically enough the last installment of Fast & Furious featured former Strikefore women’s featherweight champion Gina Carano (7-1) in a leading role.

Despite her every growing popularity outside of MMA, their has been concerns from some quarters that Rousey’s hectic work schedule could have a detrimental effect on her preparation for her rematch with Miesha Tate at UFC 168, which takes place at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on December 28th.

This rematch will conclude the 18th season of The Ultimate Fighter, which featured Rousey and Tate as opposing coaches.
