An explosive co-main event between lightweights Ross Pearson (15-6) and Melvin Guillard (31-12-2) has been added to UFC Fight Night at the Manchester Arena on October 26, with top British middleweight Michael Bisping taking on Mark Munoz in the headline bout.
Guillard most recently claimed his third career Knockout of the Night victory, at UFC on Fox where ‘The Young Assassin’ knocked out Mac Danzig in the second round on July 27.
Since winning The Ultimate Fighter Season 9 in 2009, Pearson has progressed to the status of Britain’s leading lightweight contender. ‘The Real Deal’ knocked out Australian grappling specialist George Sotiropoulos Back in December 2012, and follwoed up with a TKO victory over Ryan Couture at UFC on Fuel TV, in Stockholm on April 6.
