In the second round of his Strikeforce debut, Gracie Jiu Jitsu master Roger Gracie but on a trademark grappling masterclass. In just his third career bout, Gracie took on former UFC heavyweight champion Kevin Randleman, as the long-time veteran’s highlight career was coming to an end. Upon Securing a Thai clinch, Gracie dropped ‘The Monster’ with a flush knee to the chin, and proceeded to drag the Ohio wrestling Hall of Famer into deep water. Calm and collected, the London based Brazilian finished the contest by sinking in a Rear Naked Choke.
Having since dropped from 205lbs to 185, Gracie (6-1) makes his UFC debut on July 6, facing Tim Kennedy (15-4) in a middleweight contest at UFC 162.
