The scheduled Made4TheCage 15 showdown between undefeated welterweight prospects Ryan Scope (8-0) and Walter Gahadza (14-0) has been scrapped due to an injury sustained by Scope.

M4TC promoter Dale Percival made had the following to say about the cancellation of bout:

“Well I was hoping it was 3rd time lucky with the last 2 times both Ryan and Walter have had to pull out due to injuries but it’s happened again Ryan has tore his meniscus in his knee and saw a surgeon yesterday and is out of the fight in August. No one is more gutted than me I’ve worked hard to make this fight happen just had all the posters made and named the show Bad Blood after the banter but it’s not meant to be”.

Scope who is hails from Sunderland, England and is currently ranked 5th in the UK rankings, was last seen in action this past this past April at BAMMA 15 where he scored the biggest win of his career when he defeated Ali Arish via unanimous decision.

After this latest disappointment his opponent Gahadza who is currently ranked 15th in the UK rankings, appears to no longer be interested in fighting Scope after the third cancellation of the fight made the following comments via his Facebook page:

“The huge anticipated fight against me and pretty boy Scope is now officially off he’s injured we won’t be chasing that fight up again, I’m fighting AWOL MMA in two weeks in a k1 contest. Discussions with made for the cage will be on going to see if I can get a fight 23rd of August I’m gutted….. I’ll keep you posted guys. Thanks”.

The latest cancellation of this anticipated fight between two of the country’s top fighters will surely come as a major disappointment to fans up and down the country. MMA Plus will bring you news on this developing story as we get it.
