A Heavyweight encounter which will more then likely lead to a title shot is set to headline UFC on Fox 11, which takes place on Saturday on April 19.
The fight that will see Travis Browne (16-1-1) take on Brazilian submission specialist Fabricio Werdum (17-5-1) was confirmed by UFC president Dana White during the UFC 169 media day.
Browne was last seen in action during UFC 168 which was the world’s number one mixed martial arts promotion last show of 2013, destroyed former UFC heavyweight champion Josh Barnett in first minute of round one via elbow strikes KO will look to move a step closer to a title shot by defeating Werdum.
Werdum who has been out of action with a shoulder injury since UFC on Fuel TV 10 where he defeated Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira via armbar.
UFC on Fox 11 takes place at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.
