After the Superkombat world UK tryouts that took place last month, 2 athletes have been given the chance to make their mark on the world stage.
Garry Bell, the UK supervisor for Superkombat, has today announced that Jamie Bates and Micky Terril will represent the UK this coming Saturday (May 24th) when they make their debut at the second Superkombat World Grand Prix.
Fighters from 9 countries will be competing at the event, which will include a 1-night, 4-man, light heavyweight tournament that will see Bates facing off against rising star Flavius Boiciuc, and will also see Terril taking on tough Romanian Danut Hurduc in a Cruiserweight Bout.
Bell had the following to say about the exciting news
“As I announced before, we work hard to develop this market in UK and now we proved that we are very serious and dedicated to reach this goal”, said Garry Bell, the president of Contender Promotion.
The Superkombat World Grand Prix takes place this Saturday at the hotel, Parc Hotel in Mamaia, Romania.
