Dutch kickboxing sensation Tyrone Spong will take his second trip into the world of mixed martial arts at the World Series of Fight 4 against Angel DeAnda. The fight was announced by WSOF chairman Ray Sefo today’s WSOF 3 conference call.
Spong was originally due to compete at the upcoming WSOF 3 event until issues with his visa nixed his proposed bout. Spong made his MMA debut at WSOF 1, defeating Travis Bartlett by knocked out.
DeAnda who has not tasted defeat in almost 3 years has won 4 of his last 5 bouts, defeating Anthony Ruiz in his last appearance at Tachi Palace Fights 15 last November.
World Series of Fight 4 takes place on August 10th in Ontario, California.
