Bradley Scott: “I thought it would be 50-50 going into the fight to be honest, I didn’t know how I would get on. There are things I would have done different, like stick to the game plan which was to keep him at range. Ended up clinching, which was the exact opposite of what we wanted. But it worked, I was impressed – I did better than what I thought I would!”

Michael Kuiper: “It didn’t work out how I planned the fight. Maybe better next time.”

Jimy Hettes: “I was hoping I’d land a few more punches but he hits hard and I knew he was a tough guy so I was just trying to get him on his back and put him in awkward positions.

It threw me through a loop to have such a late change of opponents as they’re both so different. Beggars can’t be choosers and I was just glad to have a fight.”

Robert Whiteford: “I felt comfortable in there, the crowd was amazing and I had a lot of support coming from Scotland.

Give me a full fight camp next time and I’ll be a lot better and a lot stronger. The experience was amazing and thanks to UFC for giving me a chance.”

Scores: 10-9×2 Hettes, 9-10 Whiteford

Cole Miller: “I’m always in there trying to get the finish and I’m not really pleased with how I did. I had a really tough weight cut. They could have raised his hand for this one and my hand for the other, but nothing less than a finish would have made me happy.

“This is my 15th fight in the UFC and I’m very proud of that, this is the only place I want to be. I want to fight tougher fights. I want to fight Conor McGregor, I know what a show pony is when I see one and that’s all that guy is.”

Andy Ogle: “I feel I lost the fight within 30 seconds, after a mistake by me and good play by him. It happens. I said I wanted to take experience from the fight and who better to take it from.”

Scores: 29-28 x3 Miller

Jessica Andrade: “I was impressed with how much punishment Rosi could take, I can’t imagine anyone that could take as much as that. I was going for the knockout but props to Rosi.

“I will train more and more, win more fights and hopefully I can get to the title at some point.”

Scores: 30-26 x2 30-27 Andrade

Luke Barnatt: “I said I’d do it with a right hand, it was a a submission but two knockouts and a submission in one fight’s not bad, so I’m happy. All my training was absolutely perfect, all my team mates were there for me and it was fantastic.”

Andrew Craig: “I wasn’t quick enough, I gave him a chance to throw something at me and he got me. I’ll learn to be more aggressive next time.”

Scores: 9-10×3 Barnatt

Al Iaquinta: “He was tougher than I thought he’d be and I’d watched tapes before the fight, he gets dropped, he gets hurt. He comes back and gasses the guy out. I got him tired, I kept the pressure on and kept him thinking. Got the job done. Got the W.

“I was meant to fight Anthony Njokuani, that’s the fight I’m hoping for and what I want next.”

Scores: 28-29 27-30×2 Iaquinta

John Lineker: “The fight went how I wanted it, I wanted to strike. Everyone who steps in the Octagon is tough and I just work my hardest to get the best results. We’re going to sit down and see what’s next but I am looking forward to celebrating.”

Phil Harris: “He hit me to the solar plexus and that’s how he won the fight. I’m disappointed.”

Nicholas Musoke: “It feels awesome, it’s a dream come true. Being in the Octagon was special and it got to me a bit more than I thought it would. Burt Watson said a good thing to me yesterday – making it here is easier than staying here and I want to prove I belong here.

“He came out harder than I anticipated. We both got into it, I was listening to my corner and looking to land the hook. I saw the takedown and went for it. Then he exploded on me but I kept my composure and got the submission.”

Alessio Sakara: “I made a mistake in the fight. It is my own mistake and if in the big events you make mistakes, you lose.”

Jimi Manuwa: “The fight went how I thought it’d go. I knew he was a tough opponent, he’s strong but I had his number. It was just a matter of time before I caught him.

“My training went really well and I felt great in the fight. Ready for anything.

“The crowd was great, best I’ve fought in front of so far.”

Sores: 9-10X3 Manuwa

Norman Parke: “It feels good but I wanted the finish as people have said I’m winning on points. I felt good in there, I got in the groove but I didn’t want to overcommit myself. I was happy with my boxing performance but next time I want the finish. A win’s a win.

“The support was awesome, I had a lot of people from Northern Ireland and Dublin here but I’ll fight anywhere. It was good to see my family and friends here and that they could see me win.”

Scores: 28-29×2 27-30 Parke

Ross Pearson: “I’m disappointed. The fight was just getting started but it happens in our sport you know. I got caught but nothing against Melvin, I probably would have done the same thing in the same situation, we were both just in there scrapping.

“The fight was exciting and I’m just disappointed for myself and the fans. The British fans were awesome and 100% let’s do it back in England.”

Melvin Guillard: “We go through these routines in training and the first knee was fine but the second he was just coming down and going for the floor. One second. I would never intentionally hurt anybody and Ross is a good friend of mine and actually one of my favourite fighters.

“I think the fans lost on this one tonight. I want to come back to England, the fans here are great, and do a fight night with Ross. I love Manchester and I’ll definitely be back.”

Lyoto Machida: “I am pleased with the result but I am a little upset because you don’t want to hurt your friend. I had a great camp, I am a professional and sometimes you have to take a fight even if you don’t want to do it.”

Mark Munoz: “I couldn’t get his distance, he did well at mixing it up with his distances. It was tough with the change of the opponent, but I had to take the fight.”
